Franklin County man hospitalized due to COVID-19

(WSIL) -- A man in his 70s has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Franklin County.

According to the Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department, the man got the virus through community spread. He's now hospitalized due to underlying health conditions.

Franklin County has had seven cases of COVID-19. Four of those individuals have recovered.

Hamilton County is also reporting its second confirmed case of COVID-19. The Hamilton County Health Department says a woman in her 50s is currently isolating at home.

In Jackson County, a man in his 40s has tested positive for the virus. He's now isolated.

The Jackson County Health Department now reports 49 cases of COVID-19. 20 of those patients have recovered.
