(WSIL) -- Starting Monday March 29 anyone 16 and older can get a COVID-19 vaccine in Jackson County, Illinois.
The health department says vaccines will be distributed at their mass vaccinated sites at the Banterra Center and Carbondale Civic Center.
16 and 17 year olds will need to be accompanied by a parent to get a vaccine.
Getting a vaccine at the sites does require an appointment. Those can be made .
