(WSIL) -- New cases of COVID-19 were reported Wednesday in Jackson, Pulaski and Williamson counties.
In Jackson County, health officials announced three new cases.
- Female - Two in their fifties
- Male � One in his fifties
To date, there have been 293 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and ten deaths in Jackson County. Of those confirmed cases, 231 individuals have been released from isolation.
One new case has been confirmed in Pulaski County. Southern Seven Health Department says a woman in her 40s tested positive for COVID-19.
There have been 60 total cases in Pulaski County; 30 of the individuals have recovered.
Southern Seven also reported another death as a result of COVID-19 Wednesday.
According to the health department, a Union County woman in her 70s is the 13th COVID-19 related death in the county since the start of the pandemic.
Also on Wednesday, two new cases were reported in Williamson County.
- Females: One in their 50s
- Males: One in their 20s
Health officials say there have been 72 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Williamson County and 12 confirmed cases in Franklin County. All 12 in Franklin County have recovered, as have 55 of the 72 in Williamson County.
Currently, the Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 123,830 cases, including 5,621 deaths in 101 counties in the state.
