(WSIL) -- Health departments in southern Illinois reported more than 150 new cases of COVID-19 Friday.
Three departments also announced additional deaths related to the coronavirus.
On Friday, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) listed 34 counties . Nine of those counties were in southern Illinois.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
- Female: One teen, three in their 20s, one in her 30s, two in their 40s, one in her 60s, two in their 70s and two in their 80s
- Male: One infant, one toddler, one child under 10, one teen, three in their 20s, three in their 40s, one in his 50s and one in his 70s
Bi-County Health Department reported 24 new cases of COVID-19 in Franklin County Friday. According to the health department, there have been 802 confirmed cases, including seven deaths, in the county.
Bi-County says 445 of the positive cases have recovered.
GALLATIN COUNTY
- Female: One teen, one in her 30s, one in her 40s, two in their 50s and one in her 60s
- Male: One in his 20s and one in his 30s
Egyptian Health Department announced eight new cases of COVID-19 in Gallatin County Friday. There have been 114 confirmed cases, including two deaths, in the county.
HARDIN COUNTY
- One female in her 30s
Hardin County has had 47 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Southern Seven Health Department says 11 cases are currently active.
JACKSON COUNTY
- Female: Three in their 20s, two in their 30s, one in her 50s and one in her 70s
- Male: Three in their 20s, two in their 30s, one in his 60s and one in his 70s
Jackson County Health Department announced 14 new cases of COVID-19 Friday. There have been 1,410 confirmed cases in the county, including 25 related deaths. The health department says 93 active cases are currently being managed.
JEFFERSON COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s and one in her 30s
- Male: One in his 20s, one in his 30s and one in his 40s
In addition to five new cases of COVID-19, Jefferson County Health Department also reported one additional death.
The health department says a man in his 60s has passed away.
To date, Jefferson County has had 862 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 41 deaths. Jefferson County Health says 109 active cases are currently in isolation.
JOHNSON COUNTY
- Female: One under the age of 10, one in 10s, two in their 20s, one in her 70s and one in her 80s
- Male: Two in their 30s and two in their 50s
There have been 327 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Johnson County. Southern Seven Health Department says 141 cases are currently active.
MASSAC COUNTY
- One female under 10
Massac County has had 134 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths. Southern Seven Health Department says 52 cases are currently active.
PERRY COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s and one in her 40s
- Male: One in his 20s, two in their 40s, one in his 50s and one in his 80s
There have been 399 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 16 deaths, in Perry County. Health officials say 31 cases are currently active.
RANDOLPH COUNTY
- 10 new cases for Friday, Oct. 16
Randolph County has had 1,124 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 14 deaths. Health officials say one person is currently hospitalized, while 87 others are recovering at home.
SALINE COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s, one in her 30s, one in her 40s, three in their 70s, two in their 80s and one in her 90s
- Male: One teen, one in his 50s, one in his 80s and one in his 90s
In addition to 13 new cases of COVID-19, Egyptian Health Department also announced one additional death in Saline County.
There have been 499 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including nine deaths, in the county.
UNION COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s, two in their 30s, three in their 40s and five in their 50s
- Male: Two in 10s, one in his 20s, two in their 30s and one in his 80s
Southern Seven Health Department reported 17 new cases of COVID-19 in Union County Friday. The county has had 698 confirmed cases, including 21 deaths. Southern Seven says 235 cases are currently active.
WHITE COUNTY
- Female: One teen, one in her 20s, one in her 40s, three in their 50s, one in her 80s and one in her 90s
- Male: One in his 60s
Egyptian Health Department reported nine new cases of COVID-19 in White County Friday. There have been 242 confirmed cases, including one death, in the county.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY
- Female: One infant, one in her 20s, two in their 30s, nine in their 40s, one in her 50s and four in their 60s
- Male: One child under 10, two teens, three in their 20s, three in their 30s, two in their 40s, three in their 60s and one in his 70s
In addition to 33 new cases of COVID-19, Bi-County Health Department also reported one additional death in Williamson County.
Bi-County says a man in his 70s from a long-term care facility passed away.
To date, there have been 1,678 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 58 deaths, in Williamson County. Of the positive cases, the health department says 1,061 have recovered.
