WSIL in the U-S finds one to be more effective.
The Moderna vaccine was shown to be slightly more effective than Pfizer's in keeping people out of the hospital.
Moderna's vaccine provided 93% protection against hospitalization compared to Pfizer's 88%.
One expert offered an explanation as to why Moderna edged out Pfizer.
"The Moderna vaccine seems to have a little bit better rate right now for preventing the Delta variant from infecting people, so there may be a little more protection with the Moderna vaccine versus the others," Dr. William Hartman, MD and Principal Investigator, UW Moderna COVID-19 Pediatric Vaccine Trial said.
The CDC says while data shows some variation in the levels of protection, all three are proven to offer substantial protection from COVID-19 hospitalization.
