CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Several dogs and kittens are up for adoption across the region in this edition of Pets of the Week.
Buck Is an Australian Shepherd-mix who was taken to PAW's Place Adoption Center after his elderly father passed. The beautiful boy is about three-years-old and weighs 38 pounds. Buck does have some weakness in his back legs, but he still loves to play all day. He has been neutered, vaccinated, had a rabies shot, is heartworm negative, and on preventative. His adoption fee at the shelter is $200.00.
Ash is a grey Tabby cat who is four-months-old. He was handraised and is the sweetest guy you will ever meet. To learn more about his adoption, contact Union County Animal Control in Coben.
Franklin County has a scared female dog who was hoping her family was looking for her. She's looking for someone to give her a new home and name. You can meet her at Franklin County Animal Control in Benton.
Zero loves playing outside. He also likes the rain, dirt, and grass. He has a lot of fun playing with kids and dogs bigger than him, but he doesn't do well with small dogs. Sometimes he goes by the Zee. He's a chewer, so he will need a toy of some kind to keep him busy. If you think he's a good fit for your family, you can find him at Wayne County Humane Society in Fairfield.
Sahara and her six kittens are up for adoption at the City of Marion Animal Control. Sahara is a three-year-old Domestic short hair Tabby. The kittens were born September 4, and they're all available for rescue only. There at two Tabby Bob Tails, one Tabby, two orange, and one grey.
Finding Forever Animal Rescue has two beautiful kittens that were brought back to the shelter at no fault of their own. They both love kids and attention. Adoption fees are sponsored at $40.00 each. Call Finding Forever Animal Rescue in Marion to learn more.
