HERRIN, Ill. -- If you've had a bike lost or stolen recently, the Herrin Police are trying to make it easier for you to recover your property. The department started posting photos of recovered bicycles to their Facebook Page.

To claim your bike, you'll need to provide a photo I.D. and sign a Property Release Form. Officers also tell us you can register the serial number of your bike with the department, in case it's lost or stolen in the future.
