MAKANDA, Ill. -- Water customers with the Buncombe Public Water District are urged to boil their water before use.
This boil water order is effective on February 5 and has been issued to all Buncombe Public Water District customers in effect until further notice.
The water district said some customers may experience a disruption in water service.
Water used for cooking and drinking should be brought to a rolling boil for five to seven minutes before use.
