CAVE-IN-ROCK, Ill. -- The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is open after being temporarily closed due to high winds. 

ORIGINAL STORY:

CAVE-IN-ROCK, Ill. -- The Cave-in-Rock Ferry closed down on Wednesday due to high winds.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet - District 1 stated the ferry halted services at around 1:30 p.m. on December 4.

The ferry connects KY 91 to Illinois Route 1 over the Ohio River.
