Carbondale, Ill -- Police in Carbondale are investigating reports of multiple shots fired.
They responded early Sunday morning to the 900 block of East Park Street. Officers did not find anyone with injuries. They did find several cars that had been struck by bullets.
After investigating, police learned a group of people had gathered, resulting in the gun fire.
Officials are not releasing any information about any suspect or suspects at this time.
