DU QUOIN (WSIL) -- Du Quoin Police are investigating an armed robbery.
Officers were called to the 500 block of South Jefferson Street around 1:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of a robbery that had just happened at a home in that area.
Officers, along with deputies from the Perry County Sheriff's Office, began an investigation. Authorities say a weapon was fired during the reported robbery.
The suspect(s) fled the scene before officers arrived.
No one was injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
