MARION (WSIL) -- Police in Marion are searching for suspects after reports of shots fired early Friday morning.
On Friday, August 27, 2021 at approximately 1:57am, the Marion Police Department responded to the 800 block of S. Russell St. to investigate the report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found a home had been struck by several bullets. The home was occupied, but no people inside or outside the home had been hit or injured.
A shot time after the incident, a dark gray SUV, unknown make or model, was seen leaving the area.
