PRINCETON, Ky. (WSIL) -- One person was arrested and accused of burglary in Caldwell County on November 7.

The Caldwell County Sheriff's Office said one of their deputies responded to a report of a possible attempted invasion at a home on Dawson Road east of Princeton.

The sheriff's office said there were children playing in the front yard at the time of the incident. At this time, the sheriff's office said the suspect ran towards the children and followed them inside the house where the children's mother was armed with a gun and ordered him to leave the house.

Sheriff Don Weedman said the suspect was identified as Taylor Copple, 31 of Madisonville, Kentucky and faces a Burglary 2nd Degree charge. Copple was then taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
