FAIRFIELD, Ill. (WEVV) � Police say they've arrested one person in Fairfield after a 1-year-old died and a 2-year-old was severely injured.
The Illinois State Police was contacted by the Fairfield Police Department on Sunday evening to help in the investigation on Illinois Avenue in Fairfield.
No details were immediately released on how the 1-year-old boy died, or on how the 2-year-old boy was seriously hurt, but police say they arrested 36-year-old Aydreian Hooper on Monday.
According to ISP, Hooper is being charged with Endangering the Life and Health of a Child.
The investigation is active, and ISP says no other details are being released right now.
