Three suspects sought after shooting leaves two in Carbondale hospital

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Police are looking for three suspects in relation to a shooting which resulted in two people taken to the hospital.

The Carbondale Police Department said the incident took place on February 25, at 3:53 p.m. in the 600-block of North Robert A. Stalls Avenue where officers responded after a report of shots fired.

Officers found two victims who had non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

The victims were taken to the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale by ambulance. 

Police are now looking for three suspects who are alleged of confronting the victims during a personal dispute before the shots were fired.

Police describe the suspects as black males in their late teens or early 20's.

One of the victims n the hospital has been treated and released. The other is stable.

The investigation is ongoing.
