SESSER (WSIL) -- Sesser Police, along with Illinois State Police, have determined the death of a couple was a murder-suicide.聽
On Tuesday, officers responded to a home for a dropped call. When they arrived they found 86-year-old Phyllis Miller dead in the kitchen floor and her husband James was still alive, but injured from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.聽
James was flown to a St. Louis hospital where he died.聽
The incident is still under investigation.聽
