MARION (WSIL) -- Marion High School student, Kanye Gunn, has been selected as the District 5 FFA Proficiency Winner in the area of Wildlife Management.
Gunn is a freshman member of the Marion FFA Chapter. Receiving this honor now makes Kanyeeligible to compete in the State FFA Awards Selection process in Urbana-Champaign on March 21, 2020. He was previously chosen as the Chapter and Section winner in this area.Â
FFA members who demonstrate outstanding agricultural skills and competencies through record keeping, leadership, and scholastic achievement may be considered for this award. It's all part of their SAE or Supervised Agricultural Experience.Â
