(WSIL) -- The class of 2020 at Marion High School is finally getting a graduation ceremony.
Marion High School Principal Joey Ohnesorge says the ceremony will be held on Friday, August 7 at 8:00 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
The ceremony is being limited to graduates and their immediate family due to limited seating capacity at the outdoor venue.
Family members will need to park in the east lot closest to the HEC building and may enter and sit in the bleachers around the stadium. Lawn chairs are also being encouraged to set up around the outside of the football field.
Social distancing and face masks are being strongly encouraged for all guests. Masks will be mandatory for all graduates during the entire ceremony.
Graduation speeches will be given, as well as the Top 10 announcing all graduate names as they receive their diploma.
