MARION, Ill. (WSIL) -- A free breast cancer screening and education event is coming up in Marion in mid-October.
This community event is by Black Diamond Harley-Davidson, along with Deaconess Illinois Medical Center, Shawnee Health and SIU Family Medicine, and geared towards promoting breast cancer awareness and early detection.
This event will be on October 19, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Black Diamond Harley-Davidson.Â
Multiple services will be offered at the event, including on-site free breast exams and screenings, mammograms (available at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center) and women's pap exams which will be provided by Shawnee Health.
The event will also feature a complimentary meal at the Survivors & Caregivers Breakfast from 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. for survivors, cancer patients and caregivers.
