ILLINOIS (WSIL) -- Illinois firefighters are facing complications due to the rising gas prices.
Firefighters in Springfield were sent a memo this week asking fire stations to be efficient with gas when using trucks and equipment.Â
Other stations are considering asking their respective cities for extra funds due to the new constraints being put in place. The fire chief of Taylorville claimed that they're weighing the idea of potential cuts to the workforce to deal with the high gas prices.
