CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Police are asking the public for help in finding a 23-year-old woman who is considered missing out of Carbondale.
The Carbondale Police Department alerted the public at 11:41 a.m. on September 3, stating Amina A. Henderson, 23 of Carbondale, was missing.
Police say Henderson was last heard from on August 24 at around midnight when she last spoke with a family member by phone.
Henderson is a black female, 5'4" tall, weighing 170 lbs. with blonde hair which is dyed green and has brown eyes.
Henderson is considered homeless, according to police, however, she is known to frequent the Carbondale Public Library and the 800-block of West Mill Street.
Police said Henderson suffers from a condition which places her at risk.
