Bank Customers Who Used ATM in Marion Urged to Cancel Cards Due to Skimmer Scam, Police Say

MARION, Ill. -- Police in Marion urge customers who used an ATM at Banterra Bank on May 26 to cancel your card immediately due to a scam.

The Marion Police Department stated Banterra Bank, located at 3201 Banterra Drive in Marion, was victim to a skimmer scam at the ATM.

"If you used the ATM machine on May 26th, 2024, you should cancel your card immediately, check your bank records, and report any suspected fraudulent activity," Marion police stated.
