CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Police in Carbondale updated the public after a 23-year-old woman was considered missing earlier this week.
The Carbondale Police Department first alerted the public at 11:41 a.m. on September 3, stating Amina A. Henderson, 23 of Carbondale, was missing and last heard from by family members back on August 24..
On September 5, at 4:19 p.m., Carbondale police updated the public stating Henderson was found by Carbondale officers. Police say Henderson is safe and in good health.
Police also stated they greatly appreciated the public's help in this missing person case.
