SESSER, Ill. (WSIL) -- Authorities are urging motorists to take a different route in Sesser as a street is shut down due to a structure fire on Thursday night.
The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency (FCEMA) alerted the public at 10:12 p.m. on September 12, stating a fire is taking place in Sesser and a roadway is shut down because of it.
The FCEMA reported State Highway 154 is closed from Cockrum Street to Elm Street due to the fire.
They tell motorists to take alternative routes of travel around the area.
