Flooding continues to impact motorists in western Kentucky

MAYFIELD, Ky. (WSIL) -- Rain earlier this week is still impacting motorists in western Kentucky.

The area received multiple inches of rainfall which led to flooding over roadways in several western Kentucky counties.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet shows flooding across roadways, which is impacting motorists. 

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said earlier this week there were vehicles driving through flooded areas with one motorist rescued by first responders.

Graves County

KY 348/Wadesboro Road is CLOSED with high water from 0.0 MM at the Graves County Line to the 1.2 MM at KY 450/Oaks Road.

Hickman County

KY 780 is CLOSED with high water between the 2 and 3 MM.

KY 123 is CLOSED with high water between the 14-16 MM in the Hailwell Corner area.

Marshall County

KY 1462/Benton-Birmingham Road is CLOSED with high water between the 0 and 1.2 MM. This is between KY 408/E. 12th Street and KY 1477/Benton Briensburg Road.

KY 2595/Lakeview Church Road is open with high water from the 2.6 MM/Ruggie Cemetery Road to the 3.9 MM/Red River Road, near Kentucky Dam Village.

McCracken County

KY 1255/Bonds Road is CLOSED with high water between the 0.0 MM at KY 348/Hardmoney Road and the 2.3 MM at KY 450/Oaks.
