* TIMING…Windy conditions are expected into early this evening.
* WINDS…South to southwest winds will be around 15 mph with
gusts of 25 to 30 mph.
* IMPACTS…Windy conditions will result in hazardous boating
conditions on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone
to capsizing.
A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes, and is issued when sustained winds of 15 mph or
greater are expected over large bodies of water for more than an
hour.
