southwest Indiana, and parts of west Kentucky nearest the Ohio
River.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (WSIL) -- With the latest winter weather system sweeping through the region, many schools were forced to close their doors due to icy roads.

Cape Girardeau Public Schools were no exception as they notified parents and students they were closed on Wednesday due to the snow.

In previous years, the school district has released a snow day video featuring Superintendent Dr. Neil Glass.
