New outdoor concert series coming to Carbondale

CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- More outdoor concerts are planned for downtown Carbondale.

Help kick things "Off the Rails" by joining the City's newest outdoor concert series.

The City of Carbondale, Carbondale Main Street and Consume Carbondale are teaming up to host the free concerts at the Washington Street Concert Venue located downdown.

The Off the Rails Concert Series features local entertainers and will take place on the fourth Friday in August and September.

During the shows, public consumption of alcohol in downtown Carbondale will be allowed. Visitors will also be permitted to bring their own alcohol in non-glass containers to the Venue.

  • 9 p.m. â€� The Hooten Hallers

Friday, September 24

  • 5 p.m. â€� Free Radio Honduras
  • 7 p.m. â€� Jason Ringenberg
  • 8 p.m. â€� Woodbox Gang

The Washington Street Concert Venue is located at the corner of S. Washington Street and E. Main Street.
