Jackson County officials announced CPR class

MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- Jackson County officials will soon help residents become a bit more prepared to save a life in an emergency. 

The Jackson County Ambulance Service announced its next CPR training class for September 18. The training will cover BLS and general public (Heartsaver) certifications. 

The course is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. in the JCAS Training Room in Murphysboro. Future classes will occur on the third Wednesday of the month. 

Call the ambulance service today at 618-529-5158 to register for the event. Registration costs $15 per person.
