MARION, Ill. (WSIL) -- Motorists are still navigating icy road hazards after a winter storm brought several inches of snow to our region.
Workers have been out clearing the pavement since then. Most of the main roads are now clear, however, side roads are still problematic.
Not only were roads affected, but walkways were also impacted.
We talked to the owner of Milkweed Provisions in Marion, Kara Flaherty. She said safety for her customers is her priority.
"We are always concerned about our customer's safety and well being; and of course we don't want you to put yourself in danger trying to get to us," said Flaherty.
Business owners and those who have to be out in these condition said to stay aware of the conditions of the side roads.
