Two people arrested in a Monday morning traffic stop

MCSO says the passenger provided false identifying information and had several felony warrants.

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) � The driver and the passenger of a vehicle are facing charges after an early morning traffic stop. 

At 1:34 a.m. Monday, McCracken County Sheriff's deputies did a traffic stop on South Friendship Road for an equipment violation.

Deputies say, Donte Thompson, the passenger, provided them with false identifying information. 

Further investigation revealed that Thompson has several felony warrants. 

Authorities say they executed a search of the driver's home, Kori Lane. 

Deputies say Lane denied Thompson being inside the residence, yet deputies later discovered Thompson hiding inside a room. 

Both Lane and Thompson were arrested. 

Thompson faces charges including a probation violation warrant, parole warrant, and giving officers false identifying information. 

Lane was arrested on a 2nd-degree charge of hindering law enforcement.
