CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (WSIL) -- Southeast Missouri State University is getting ready for the spooky season. They're hosting several family-friendly events to celebrate Halloween.

All Southeast Missouri State University campuses will reopen and classes held on regular operating hours Thursday, October 6. Students who went home may return to campus at any time Wednesday to prepare for the next day's classes.

Parking structures outside of the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau are now home to 3,500 solar panels thanks to a partnership between Ameren Missouri and Southeast Missouri State University.Â
