CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (WSIL) -- SEMO hoops now can add a new chapter to its history books. Southeast Missouri won its first outright Ohio Valley Conference regular-season title and locked up the OVC Tournament's #1 seed for the first time in program history.
The Redhawks made history by defeating SIU-Edwardsville 83-68 on Thursday night.
SEMO will conclude its regular season on Saturday with a matchup against Eastern Illinois at 3:30PM, then their focus shifts to the postseason.Â
SEMO enters the final game of the season with a 20-10 overall record.Â
