Carterville (WSIL) -- A much cloudier day on Tuesday but still a dry afternoon for everyone. We also remained plenty warm with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. We also remained quite gusty with winds continuing to whip around 20-25 mph.Â
Expect to start seeing showers starting from around 5 p.m. from the NW to about 10PM for our SE counties. The rain should only last an hour or so once it starts at any given location so expect a wet evening commute. There could also be a rumble of thunder or two but were not expecting any severe weather in the slightest this evening.Â
Wednesday is probably going to be the best day of the week with it remaining partly cloudy but completely dry all day before things get much more active with rain starting to move in on Thursday and showers and storms continuing for Friday evening.Â
