CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- It is windy out there. And windy conditions will remain this evening.
Sunday is continuing to be a beautiful day out there despite the windy conditions. Temperatures are in the 70s and the sun is shining, however, wind gusts were clocked in the mid 20s throughout the day. Tonight, we will see winds decrease a bit, but they will still be in the teens to 20 mph range.
Overnight, winds will continue and temps only drop into the mid 60s with clouds moving into our region.
By Monday morning, it will be cloudy and the winds will calm to about 10 mph to start the day and will carry on throughout the daytime hours. Temperatures won't climb much, if at all. We will continue to see highs in the 60s.
Tuesday will bring similar temperatures to our area, slightly cooler though, topping out in the lower 60s. However, the sun will make an appearance again. Precipitation will be nearly zero this week until Friday where we could see some showers.
