PADUCAH (WSIL) -- Crews with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet are gearing up for this weekend's wind and rain.
KYTC personnel across western Kentucky spent time checking storm drains for debris, sharpening chain saws, and pre-loading “Water Over Road� and “Road Closed� signs and barricades onto trucks.
KYTC District 1 is reminding drivers that as little as 6-12 inches of moving water can push a vehicle off the road and to "Turn Around - Don’t Drown."
