180 new cases of COVID-19, one additional death

(WSIL) -- Health departments in southern Illinois are reporting 180 new cases of the virus on Saturday, and the death of a Williamson County man.

Franklin County:

  • Females: Two under 10, two in their 30’s, two in their 40’s, four and one in their 60’s.
  • Males: One in their 20’s, five in their 40’s, three in their 50’s, two in their 60’s, one in their 70’s, one in their 80’s.

Tp date there have been 2,070 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including 25 deaths. Of these positive cases, 1,133 have recovered.

Gallatin County:

  • Female: 1 in their 50’s, 1 in their 60’s

According to the Egyptian Health Department, Gallatin County has a total of 215 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including two deaths.

Jackson County:

  • Female: Four under ten, one preteen, two in their 20's, three in their 30's, two in their 40's, four in their 50's, two in their 60's, two in their 70's, two in their 90's, and one over 100.
  • Male: One under ten, two teens, two in their 20's, one in his 30's, one in his 40's, three in their 50's, four in their 60's, and three in their 70's.

Health officials are currently monitoring 443 active cases. To date Jackson County has had 2,679 cases, including 32 related deaths. So far, 2,204 individuals released from isolation, including 28 Saturday.

Randolph County:

  • 38 cases
  • Genders/ages not listed

This information is for Friday, November 28th. Health officials in the county typically post data the following day.

Randolph County has had 2,200 confirmed cases, including 27 residents who have passed away. Health officials are currently monitoring 213 cases. So far, 1,960 individuals have been released from isolation.

Saline County:

  • Female: One under the age of 10, two in their teens, two in their 40’s, two in their 50’s, one in their 60’s.
  • Male: Three under the age of 10, one in their teens, one in their 20’s, two in their 30’s, two in their 50’s.

To date, Saline County has had a total of 1,209 lab confirmed positives, including 26 deaths.

White County:

  • Female: Four in their 30’s, two in their 40’s, two in their 50’s, three in their 60’s, one in their 70’s.
  • Male: One in their teens, one in their 30’s, one in their 50’s, one in their 60’s.

According to the Egyptian Health Department, White County has had a total of 656 lab-confirmed positives, including nine deaths.

Williamson County:

  • Females: One under 10, two teenagers, four in their 20’s, seven in their 30’s, three in their 40’s, two in their 50’s, five in their 60’s, three in their 70’s and one in their 80’s.
  • Males: Two in their 20’s, two in their 30’s, two in their 40’s, two in their 50’s, two in their 60’s, three in their 70’s, one in their 80’s and one in their 90’s.

To date, there have been a total of 3,612 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county.

Health officials are reporting the death of another resident. The individual is a man in his 80’s, who was previously confirmed to have acquired the disease.

His death marks the 77th for Williamson County.

Illinois Department of Public Health:

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 7,873 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease Saturday, including 108 additional deaths.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 712,936 cases, including 12,137 deaths across the state.
