(WSIL) -- Health departments across southern Illinois are reporting 56 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, January 24, 2021.
Franklin County:
- Females: one teenager, two in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, four in their 50’s, one in their 60’s and two in their 70’s.
- Males: one under 10, two in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, one in their 50’s, and one in their 60’s.
To date, there have been a total of 4,025 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including 54 deaths. Of these positive cases, 2,470 have recovered in Franklin county.
Gallatin County:
- Female: 1 in their 20’s
- Male: 1 in their 20’s
Gallatin County has a total of 436 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths.
Jackson County:
- Female: 1 in her twenties and 2 in their fifties.
- Male: 1 in his twenties, 3 in their fifties and 1 in his sixties.
Health officials are currently monitoring 211 active cases. To date, Jackson county has had 4,342 with 65 related deaths. So far health officials have release 4,066 individuals from isolation, including 25 Sunday.
Saline County:
- Female: 2 in their teens, 1 in their 40’s
- Male: 1 in their 70’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,239 lab confirmed positives, including 39 deaths.
White County:
- Female: 1 in their 70’s
- Male: 1 in their 30’s
White County has had a total of 1,494 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths.
Williamson County:
- Females: one teenager, two in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, one in their 50’s, two in their 60's, two in their 70’s and two in their 90's.
- Males: one in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, two in their 40’s, three in their 50’s, one in their 60's, two in their 70’s and one in their 80’s.
To date, there have been a total of 6,585 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county including 106 deaths. Of these positive cases, 3,839 have recovered in Williamson county.
Illinois Department of Public Health:
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 3,292 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease Sunday, including 40 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 1,101,819 cases, including 18,750 deaths across the state.
A total of 681,473 vaccines administered, including 106,274 for long-term care facilities.
