Gusty Winds Associated With Decaying Showers...

Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible for a period of time early
this evening due to a decaying area of showers. Those in high
profile vehicles may encounter some difficult driving conditions
as well. A few tree limbs may be blown down. Unsecure objects may
be blown around.

Additional case of COVID-19 reported in Jefferson County

MT VERNON (WSIL) -- The Jefferson County Health Department has confirmed an additional case of COVID-19.

In a release Sunday, the department said that a woman in her 40s tested positive for the virus. She is now in isolation at her home.

To date, there have been 98 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 71 positive cases released from isolation. 14 people have died from the virus and 13 are still in isolation.

The department has recorded 758 negative tests as of Sunday morning.
