JACKSON CO. (WSIL) -- A man in his 70s from Jackson County has died from COVID-19. He becomes the county's third death from the virus.
The Jackson County Health Department released the news on Sunday.
Two other women have also tested positive for COVID-19. One is in her 20s and the other is in her 50s. Both are isolated and doing well.
They got the virus through contact with another person with a known or suspected case here locally.
Jackson County has now had 34 positive COVID-19 cases. Nine of those patients have been released from isolation.
