(WSIL) -- Health departments across southern Illinois are reporting nine new cases of COVID-19 on April 4, 2021.
Egyptian Health Department:
- Not reporting numbers on Easter
Franklin County:
- Females: 0
- Males: One Tween
To date, there have been a total of 4,391 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including 63 deaths. Of those positive cases, 4,214 have recovered in Franklin county.
Jackson County:
- Female: One in her twenties, one in her thirties, and one in her eighties.
- Male: one teen. 81 active cases.
Health officials are currently monitoring 81 active cases. Jackson County had had 4,831 cases to date, with 72 related deaths. So far, 4,678 individuals released from isolation, including 5 Sunday.
Williamson County:
- Females: One under 10 and one in their 60's
- Males: One toddler and one in their 50's
To date, there have been a total of 7,316 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county, including 119 deaths. Of those positive cases, 6,926 have recovered in Williamson county.
Illinois Department of Public Health:
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today reported 2,449 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease Sunday, including 14 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 1,256,634 cases, including 21,373 deaths across the state.
A total of 6,290,822 vaccines have been administered.
