HARRISBURG (WSIL) -- Another non-profit in southern Illinois is in need of help, in order to overcome a fundraising shortfall.

The Harrisburg Medical Center Foundation is holding an online raffle after canceling its Gala, Golf tournament, and Fall ladies due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The group is giving away two Tory Burch purses, and will hold the drawing "live" on its Facebook page on Friday, November 6th.

This virtual event comes as a way to keep with social distance guidelines, while raising money for their community-support efforts.

The non-profit regularly holds a "Ladies' Night Designer Purse Bingo," the raffle is a virtual step in that direction.

Money raised goes toward making improvements at the Harrisburg Medical Center, including new equipment and bringing services to the area.

Past donations have also helped with the center's most recent expansion.

The cost of one raffle ticket is $25 or you can buy six tickets for $100.
