(WSIL) -- Six southern Illinois counties reported new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.
- Franklin County: 1 female in her 50s
- Jackson County: 1 female in her 50s
- Jefferson County: 1 female in her teens, 1 male in his 30s
- Perry County: 1 male in his 20s
- Pulaski County: 1 male in his 20s
- Williamson County: 1 female in her 30s, 1 male in his 50s, 1 female in her 60s
To date, there have been 12 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Franklin County, 233 cases including ten deaths in Jackson County, 104 cases in Jefferson County, 41 each in Perry and Pulaski counties, and 58 in Williamson County.
On Tuesday, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced 1,178 new cases of COVID-19 in the state, including 39 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 113,195 cases, including 4,923 deaths, in 100 counties in Illinois.
