(WSIL) -- Illinois health officials report more than 10,009 new cases of the COVID-19 on Sunday, which comes after three days in a row of record cases counts peaking at 12, 438 Saturday.
The findings by the Illinois Department of Public Health include of the disease.
Health officials also confirming an additional 42 deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 487,987 cases, including 10,196 deaths across the state.
Health departments in southern Illinois show 130 additional residents are virus positive as of Sunday, November 8th:
Franklin County: 29 new cases, one additional death
- Females: One teenager, three in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, five in their 50’s, one in their 60’s, two in their 70’s, and three in their 90’s.
- Males: One infant, one tween, two in their 20’s, one in their 50’s, two in their 60’s, and five in their 80’s.
To date, there have been a total of 1,318 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19 with 702 recovering so far.
Health officials say another resident with the virus has lost their life. The individual is a female in her 70’s from a long-term care facility. She was previously confirmed to have acquired the disease and has passed away from COVID-related disease.
Her passing marks the 14th residents in Franklin County.
Gallatin County: 2 new cases
- Female: One in their 40’s.
- Male: One in their teens.
Gallatin County has a total of 156 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including two deaths.
Jackson County: 28 new cases
- Female: One under 10, two teens, six in 20s, three in 30s, one in 40s, three in 60s, and one in 90s.
- Male: One under 10, one teen, two in 20s, one in 40s, one in 50s, one in 60s, two in 70s, and two in 80s.
Health officials are currently monitoring 263 active cases. To date, there's been 1,868 cases in the country, including 27 related deaths. Of these positive cases, 1,578 individuals released from isolation, including five Sunday.
Saline County: 15 new cases
- Female: One in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, one in their 50’s, three in their 70’s, one in their 90’s.
- Male: One in their teens, one in their 40’s, one in their 50’s, three in their 60’s, one in their 70’s, one in their 80’s.
- Please note: 1 Female in her 20’s, 1 in their 30’s, and 2 in their 40’s reported 11/7/2020 have been transferred to their local health department.
To date, Saline County has had a total of 848 lab confirmed positives, including 17 deaths.
White County: 5 new cases
- Female: One in their 40’s, two in their 60’s
- Male: One in their 40’s, One in their 60’s
White County has had a total of 372 lab-confirmed positives, including six deaths.
Williamson County: 51 new cases
- Females: One infant, one toddler, one child under 10, four teenagers, two in their 20’s, three in their 30’s, two in their 40’s, two in their 50’s, four in their 60’s, three in their 70’s, four in their 80’s, and one in their 90’s.
- Males: One tween, two teenagers, four in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, four in their 40’s, five in their 50’s, three in their 60’s, two in their 70’s, and one in their 90’s.
To date, there have been a total of 2,430 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county, including 66 deaths. Of these positive cases, 1,362 have recovered.
