(WSIL) -- Southern Seven Health Department is reporting six new cases of COVID-19 in its region.
The health department says four of the cases are in Union County, two are in Pulaski County.
- Pulaski County: 1 man in his 30s, 1 man in his 40s
- Union County: 1 woman in her 30s, 1 man in his 40s, 1 woman in her 50s, 1 man in his 80s
All the individuals are being isolated.
To date, Southern Seven Health Department has had 51 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and no deaths. 22 of the confirmed cases have since recovered.
- Alexander County: 3 (2 of 3 recovered)
- Hardin County: 1 (1 of 1 recovered)
- Johnson County: 4 (2 of 4 recovered)
- Massac County: 4 (3 of 4 recovered)
- Pope County: 0
- Pulaski County: 20 (8 of 20 recovered)
- Union County: 19 (6 of 19 recovered)
Currently, the (IDPH) is reporting a total of 56,055 cases of COVID-19, including 2,457 deaths, in 97 counties in Illinois.
