...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 108 expected.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

St. Louis, Nashville airports no longer requiring masks

(WSIL) -- A federal judge in Florida struck down on Monday the Biden administration's mask mandate for airplanes and other public transport methods.

Following this decision, St. louis Lambert International Airport and Nashville International Airport announced they will no longer require masks. 

Lambert International said they won't be required for passengers coming through the airport, visitors or employees. 

Nashville International is following the same protocol, but both airports are encouraging passengers to check with their respective airline and destination for their requirements. 

Several US airlines announced Monday that masks are now optional on their aircraft � Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines and JetBlue.

The mandate had been in place since January 2021 and was extended last week for another 15 days to allow the CDC more time to study the latest coronavirus variant.
