(WSIL) -- Williamson County has now had more than 1,500 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department reported 17 new cases in the county Tuesday, bringing its current total to 1,506. The health department also announced one additional death in Williamson County.
Union County also saw a large number of new cases Tuesday. According to Southern Seven Health Department, 31 of the 41 new cases in its region were in Union County.
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Tuesday reported 1,617 new cases of COVID-19 in the state, including 32 additional confirmed deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 305,011 cases, including 8,836 deaths, in Illinois.
ALEXANDER COUNTY
- One female in her 20s
Alexander County has had 90 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death. Southern Seven Health Department says 32 cases are currently active.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
- Female: One in her 30s, two in their 40s, one in her 50s and two in their 70s
- Male: One under the age of 10, one teen, one in his 30s and two in their 70s
Bi-County Health Department reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 in Franklin County Tuesday. To date, there have been 599 confirmed cases, including five deaths, in the county. Bi-County says 417 of the positive cases have recovered.
GALLATIN COUNTY
- Female: One in her 50s and one in her 80s
- Male: One in his 40s
According to the Egyptian Health Department, there have been 84 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths.
HARDIN COUNTY
- One female in her 40s
Hardin County has had 40 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Southern Seven Health Department says seven cases are currently active.
JACKSON COUNTY
- Female: One in her 30s and two in their 50s
- Male: One under the age of 10, two in their 20s, one in his 40s and one in his 60s
Jackson County has had 1,306 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 24 related deaths. Thirty-nine active cases are currently being managed.
JEFFERSON COUNTY
- Female: One in her 40s, one in her 50s and one in her 80s
- Male: Two in their 30s and one in his 50s
In addition to six new cases of COVID-19, Jefferson County Health Department also announced one additional death.
The health department says a woman in her 70s passed away.
To date, there have been 735 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 33 deaths, in Jefferson County. Health officials say 118 active cases are currently in isolation.
JOHNSON COUNTY
- Female: One under the age of 5 and one in her 50s
- Male: Three in their 30s and one in his 50s
Johnson County has had 257 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Southern Seven Health Department says 94 cases are currently active.
PERRY COUNTY
- Female: One in her 30s
- Male: One under the age of 19 and one in his 50s
There have been 368 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 16 deaths, in Perry County. Twenty cases are currently active.
PULASKI COUNTY
- Female: One in her 40s
- Male: One in 10s
Pulaski County has had 191 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death. Southern Seven Health Department says 35 cases are currently active.
SALINE COUNTY
- Female: One in her teens, one in her 20s, one in her 30s and one in her 50s
- Male: One under the age of 12, one in his 20s, one in his 30s, three in their 40s, three in their 50s and one in his 60s
Egyptian Health Department reported 14 new cases of COVID-19 in Saline County Tuesday. There have been 428 confirmed cases, including six deaths, in the county.
UNION COUNTY
- Female: Two in their 20s, one in her 30s, two in their 40s, three in their 50s and three in their 60s
- Male: One in 10s, four in their 20s, four in their 30s, six in their 40s, two in their 50s and three in their 70s
Southern Seven Health Department reported 31 new cases of COVID-19 in Union County Tuesday. There have been 567 confirmed cases, including 20 deaths, in the county. According to Southern Seven, 135 cases are currently active.
WAYNE COUNTY
- Female: Two in their 40s, two in their 50s, one in her 60s and one in her 70s
- Male: One in his 90s
There have been 327 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including eight deaths, in Wayne County. Health officials say eight people are currently hospitalized, while 53 others are isolating at home.
WHITE COUNTY
- Male: One in his 60s and one in his 70s
White County has had 194 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY
- Female: Two teens, three in their 30s, two in their 40s, two in their 50s, two in their 60s and one in her 70s
- Male: One in his 20s, one in his 50s, two in their 60s and one in his 70s
In addition to 17 new cases of COVID-19, Bi-County Health Department also reported one additional death Tuesday.
Bi-County says a man in his 70s from a long-term care facility in the county passed away.
To date, there have been 1,506 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 56 deaths, in Williamson County. Bi-County says 995 of the positive cases have recovered.
