BBB - Tips to protect older adults from scams

(WSIL) -- Older adults are often the target of scams because they're thought to be quick to trust and easy to trick. Scammers will claim to be with the government, a bank employee, with Medicare or even with a tech company to convince you to hand over your most personal information. According to the BBB, there are ways to protect our parents and grandparents from such scams. One of their top tips is to open up a line of communication with your loved one and be sure to include their caregiver in the conversation.
