(WSIL) -- On Thursdays, WSIL features animals in our area who need a good home. It's a segment we lovingly named: Pets of the Week". We always have plenty of adoptable animals from areas across the region. Here's a look at who is looking for a forever home this week.

First is a beautiful boxer mix named 'Betty'. She's said to be great with cats and kids. Betty might also only be lukewarm at the start, but she warms up pretty quickly. You can find Betty at the Centralia Humane Society. Their number is (618) 532-0489.

Next is a very lovable kitty named 'Sassy'. If you are looking for a snuggle buddy, Sassy is the girl for you. She's a two-year-old cat who is said to be in "need of constant love". She's also considered to be quite the singer. Sassy is available at the Wayne County Animal Control at (618)847-4012.

Finally, you have got to meet adorable little Owen. This little schnauzer/yorkie mix is only 5 months old and looking for a place to call home. Owen is said to be quiet and sweet. You can find Owen at Claws and Paws Rescue. You can reach them at (618) 395-1218.
