PATTON, Mo. (WSIL) -- An 87-year-old man is dead after an crash involving an ATV on Friday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the crash happening along Highway OO, roughly seven miles south of Patton on September 20 at 5:02 p.m.
The crash report by MSHP stated an 18-year-old was driving a 2017 Ford Edge and failed to yield and then hit the back of a 2004 Yamaha ATV, driven by Jacob Dunn, 87 of Marble Hill.
Dunn was taken to Saint Francis Medical Center and was later pronounced dead.
MSHP stated this was the 45th death related to a traffic crash in the southeast Missouri area for 2024.
